My Path

Today my car gave up and I was forced to look for help...

Unfortunately, I have no one and I immediately figured that its just god's will

I walk back alone...in my heels and short dress
Guys gasping and girls stared at me...didn't know I was such a show stealer

I realise that when you have no one and no hope, you walk your own path
It's not that hard, the path wasn't long and empty
I carried 2 big bags and some document
I walked till the sun clocked out

Even if it's not easy, I'm happy
I chose my path
I chose the shoes that carried me
I chose to be happy

My head held high and I walked my path

I did not turn back
